nUI Developer Gets Another Guest Spot For BlizzCon!

Firstly, I would like to give a big GRATZ! to K. Scott Piel for the second invite in a row to BlizzCon! Keep up the great work. I personally used the interface for about a year, sadly I no longer play World Of Warcraft, and it is MUCH better than the one Blizzard offered. Even as of late some of the "enhancements" being made to the existing user interface for the game were in nUI long before Blizzard implemented them. Most of you subscribed to his news letter recieved this:

I have the distinct honor of being a guest at BlizzCon 2010 as I was last year... and I am very much looking forward to it.

With that in mind, there are several things I would like to do, not the least of which would be to meet with some of nUI's users. If you are going to be attending BlizzCon this year, let me know. If there's enough of us, I'll see if we can't put together some kind of a meet and greet, or perhaps reserve a table in the hall where nUI user's can come together. This notice will be posted in the announcements section on WoW Interface at -- if you will be attending BlizzCon and would like to meet up, please post in that forum and we'll see what we can work out.

Second, I realized far too late last year that there are many nUI users who have inside tracks on hotels and air travel. So, before I make arrangements this year, I wanted to reach out and see what options might be available from the nUI community.

I am looking to stay at either the Marriott Anaheim, Hilton Anaheim, Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort, Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort or Cortona Inn and Suites -- all located right at the convention center. If anyone has any inside rates on any of these hotels, I'd appreciate hearing from you. I expect to arrive Wednesday, October 20th and depart Tuesday, October 26th.

As for flights, I would like to try and get a non-stop from Orlando, FL (MCO) to either LAX or the Ontario, CA (ONT) -- there are flights listed for Continental, American, Delta and United. If anyone has any inside connections with any of these airlines, please let me know. I should add that standby flights are a bad idea in this situation as I really need to be there when I need to be there and not being able to make a flight could be a serious problem.

Finally, if you would like to make a donation in support of nUI's pilgrimage to Anaheim for BlizzCon 2010, please CLICK HERE (and thank you!)

As always, my sincere thanks to everyone for their ongoing support for nUI.

Best regards...
