Charity And Talent Drive - Share This!

We here at Totem Soup may seem quite off kilter and odd minded, but we do support good causes. We believe in charity fundraisers for good causes and the fruition of local and small business ventures and artists. Here are a few ventures we are currently promoting:

Erin Hare's Scentsy Store

Launch Party on Feb 05, everything in Feb will be 10% off the whole month with the exception of the Military, Cause, and warmer/scent of the month. A portion of the proceeds for the Coast Guard and Autism warmer will be donated to said causes. So Check it out!

The "Cover" Project - Travesty Pictures
[vimeo http://vimeo.com/18686928]
Donate To The Cause Here!
Travesty Pictures produces a song from start to finish, they then film a music video for that song. The finished product generally goes viral due to their creative marketing plan, resulting in huge success for the bands and individuals they produce. This is an ongoing project, that they have already seen great success with. With the proposed budget they will be producing ten videos for this series (our 2011 season).

They have two examples of this project already.
The is their latest video (and video of the series). It's a cover song of "blow" by Kesha expected to reach an audience of around 200,000 people by march.
This next video they recently shot and directed for a band, this is just a look at what some of the videos can / will look like.
This last video is their first video from the project, they have upgraded our equipment and crew since this video. It still shows the potential of what this project can be.

Travesty Pictures is collaboration between ShakeMango and Six Year Productions.

Dead Before Dawn
[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVcjp3-KifQ]
Genres: Metal / Hardcore / Punk
Dead Before Dawn is the result of persitence and dedication to the music that they love. They have been in other succesful bands together and individually but always kept their hardcore, metal band alive. Over the last few months the lineup has finally been completed. Dead Before Dawn has played shows and the response has been more than they could have hoped for. Making new fans at every show and converting those who never even considered themselves metal heads! Dead Before Dawn is certainly not a new band but it will be new to YOU as they burst onto the scene with aggression this spring!
Dead Before Dawn mixes heavy, stompy rhythms with moments of thrash to make up the basis of their sound. Add to that a bass line that grooves, razor sharp vocals with beautiful undertones and you have Dead Before Dawn, aggressive and in your face!
