AJ Jordan: The Crescendo - A Real Hustler From Buffalo, NY

As of late my boy, my homie, Aj Jordan has been feeling some ways. As a human he's on the brink of breaking, but as an artist he is so close to exploding. I have been around watching him for the last 10 years of his 20 year music career, and he just keeps getting better. Honestly, the man just needs a boost.

From his original style and one of a kind flair for almost everything, this guy has a good thing going. He's a song machine, lyricist, and downright dope dude. He's also opened for some huge names, but still takes time to appear in local podcasts, radio shows, or just to chill. Aj has opened concerts for many well-known artists and was part of a 14-city East Coast Tour with former members of the Three Six Mafia a.k.a. Prophet Posse He has shared the stage with Bam Margera & CKY, Emmy Nominated Band Gangstagrass, #1 Independent Rapper In The World Tech N9ne, Kottonmouth Kings, Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, Anybody Killa, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Necro, False Profits Coalition and many others.

AJ was nominated and won three years in a row for Best of Buffalo Hip Hop Act during 2012, 2013, AND 2014 in the Artvoice Newspaper and was honored for “Album Of The Year” in 2012. He was also the First Place People’s Choice ‘Best Hip Hop/Rap Performer’ of 2013 at the All WNY Music Awards. He has received several other awards & nominations alongside his community awareness group, the Terror Technologies ‘Buffalo Zombies for Charity’. Their group has heavy community ties and have helped to raise thousands of dollars for many charities including the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro WNY and over 5,000 pounds of non-perishable items for the Food Bank of WNY since 2010!

Totem Soup Podcast - Episode 46 featuring AJ Jordan (October 2010)

Recently he has released a 3 part album series, and the music still keeps coming. He also has recorded quite a few music videos, and got very good production quality out of his own editing skill and meager budget. He usually includes friends and family in the fray which makes the final product even that much more special when the finished product is released. I, myself have done the camera work for a few of his music videos and photos for his albums and promotions. All I ever ask for is a good time. It's been fun, and will keep being fun, I'm positive of it.

Totem Soup Podcast is no longer around, but it was a good time that promoted a lot of local talent in its time. Aj Jordan appeared on it twice, and it was an absolute great time. The energy he puts into everything is infectious and his playlist is endless. So, do me a solid. Uplift my boy. Uplift his hard work. If you like him, show some support and share this post across the world, like some of his music and videos, and maybe dip into his merch tank or buy an album or two. You are bound to find something you like.

I will leave you with one of my favorite recent tracks and his linktree.
